Frequently Asked Questions
Invictus Fitness Center is locally owned and operated by people who genuinely love fitness and care deeply about the Mohave Valley community. We built Invictus because we believed our area deserved more than a basic commercial gym experience.
Our mission has always been to create a facility that constantly evolves, improves, and reinvests back into the member experience. We are obsessed with upgrading equipment, adding new amenities, expanding recovery options, improving training spaces, and creating an atmosphere that motivates people to become the best version of themselves.
We are building something the Mohave Valley has never seen before — a fitness experience designed to rival, and in many ways surpass, the high-end fitness facilities found in major cities. From elite-level equipment and recovery services to our functional fitness spaces, combat training areas, premium amenities, and 24/7 access, every detail is designed to create an environment where serious results happen.
At Invictus, this is more than a business to us. Fitness changed our lives, and we want to bring that same opportunity to our community.
Yes. All memberships above our base membership tier include access to both Invictus Fitness Center locations, giving you more flexibility, equipment options, amenities, and training environments.
We offer 5 different membership levels because we believe you should not have to pay for amenities you do not want or use. Each membership tier is designed to fit different goals, budgets, and lifestyles.
Depending on your membership level, amenities can include 24/7 access, group fitness classes, tanning, saunas, massage chairs, recovery services, guest privileges, InBody body composition scans, and more.
Yes. We have fantastic trainers with experience across many different areas of fitness, including weight loss, bodybuilding, powerlifting, athletic performance, dance training, flexibility, and general health and wellness.
Whether you are completely new to fitness or an experienced athlete looking to take things to the next level, our trainers can help guide you toward your goals.
Absolutely. We love beginners.
Invictus is designed for everyone — from first-time gym members all the way to advanced athletes and competitors. Our front desk staff is knowledgeable about fitness and can help guide you in the right direction, and personal training is always available if you want more individualized support.
We also highly encourage beginners to try our group fitness classes. They are a great way to build confidence, create accountability, and become part of the community while learning the fundamentals of fitness.
Our functional fitness area, Mount Olympus, is also an excellent place for beginners because it teaches foundational movements like squats, presses, deadlifts, and other major barbell exercises in a supportive environment.
Yes. Recovery is a major part of the Invictus experience.
Depending on your membership level, recovery amenities may include:
- Medical-grade PBMT recovery therapy
- Saunas
- Massage chairs
- Acupressure therapy beds
- Tanning
- InBody body composition analysis
- Stretching and recovery areas
We are constantly expanding and upgrading our recovery offerings because we believe recovery is just as important as training itself.
We pride ourselves on offering one of the widest and most unique equipment selections in the area.
Our goal has always been to bring in the highest-quality equipment in the world — the kind of equipment you normally only see in elite gyms that cost hundreds of dollars per month — while still keeping memberships affordable for our community.
We are constantly searching for the newest, best, and most cutting-edge equipment available. From serious strength training and bodybuilding equipment to functional fitness, combat training, cardio, and recovery tools, no expense is spared when it comes to improving the training experience for our members.
Because of our large equipment selection and multiple training spaces, there is rarely a time where you will spend long waiting for equipment.
We also designed specialized areas like Mount Olympus, our strength and functional fitness room, and Core Nexus, our stretching and recovery space, to give members areas away from the main crowds so they can focus on their workout.
Due to its popularity and larger population base, our Bullhead City location (formerly Mad Dogs Fitness) can become busy during peak hours. However, members can check our app to see current club capacity and plan their workouts accordingly.
If you prefer a smaller community feel with less traffic, our Fort Mohave location offers many of the same premium amenities and equipment while typically being less crowded.
While we do not currently offer family memberships, we do offer customizable corporate membership programs.
We can create custom pricing and payment structures for businesses, including options to split costs between employers and employees. Please contact management or schedule an appointment so we can build a package tailored specifically to your company.
Absolutely. Even if you are currently in a 2-year agreement, you can upgrade your membership at any time to gain access to additional amenities and features.

Yes. Both locations include locker rooms and showers for member convenience.
All gyms require members to sign agreements and liability waivers in order to use the facility safely and legally. Insurance companies require these protections for gyms to operate.
However, we do offer flexible membership options, including month-to-month memberships with no long-term commitment as well as prepaid memberships that expire automatically without requiring cancellation.
We switched to bi-weekly billing for several reasons — all centered around improving the member experience.
First, it allows members to cancel significantly faster. In the fitness industry, billing software companies require one full billing cycle to occur after a cancellation form is signed. At gyms using monthly billing, this can sometimes mean waiting up to 59 days for a cancellation to fully process.
By switching to bi-weekly billing, we cut that time roughly in half and can process cancellations in as little as two weeks.
Second, we noticed nearly a 50% reduction in missed payments after making the switch. Not everyone gets paid at the beginning of the month, and breaking memberships into smaller payments helps make memberships more manageable and affordable.
Most importantly, we hate late fees. We do not profit from late fees — those are handled entirely through billing software providers. Our goal is to structure billing in a way that helps members avoid late fees altogether.
Yes. We currently offer student membership options.
At this time we do not offer military discounts, but it is something we may explore in the future.
PBMT stands for Photobiomodulation Therapy, an advanced light-based recovery technology designed to support recovery, circulation, performance, and overall wellness.
We utilize a medical-grade ARRC PBMT recovery bed that uses specific wavelengths of red and near-infrared light to penetrate deep into the body’s tissues. Many members use PBMT to help support muscle recovery, reduce soreness, improve circulation, and enhance overall recovery between workouts.
PBMT has become increasingly popular among athletes, recovery clinics, wellness centers, and professional sports organizations because of its non-invasive approach to recovery and performance support.
An InBody scan is an advanced body composition analysis that gives you a much deeper understanding of your progress than a traditional scale.
Instead of simply showing body weight, an InBody scan measures:
- Body fat percentage
- Muscle mass
- Water balance
- Lean body mass
- Segmental muscle development
- And other important health and fitness metrics
This allows members to track real progress and make more informed decisions about their training and nutrition.
Yes. Members have 24/7 access to the facility so you can train whenever it best fits your schedule.
Yes. The facility is monitored after hours for member safety and facility security.
We have dedicated staff who regularly review security systems and cameras. Members who violate membership policies, damage equipment, or misuse the facility may receive warnings, be held responsible for damages, or lose membership privileges in severe situations.
Please bring a valid photo ID, your preferred payment method, comfortable workout clothing, proper athletic shoes, water, and a great attitude. If you are coming in on a guest pass or trial visit, our staff will help walk you through everything you need to get started.
We offer a variety of membership options designed to fit different goals, budgets, and commitment levels. Choose from prepaid memberships, flexible month-to-month memberships with no long-term commitment, or our 2-year agreements that include our best rates and no enrollment fee.
We also offer 5 different membership tiers, each with its own level of access, amenities, recovery options, guest privileges, and perks — allowing you to choose the experience that fits you best.
Invictus Fitness Center is open 24/7 for members, giving you the freedom to train on your schedule. Staffed hours vary by location, so please call or stop by for current front desk hours.
We offer a wide variety of group fitness classes designed for all experience levels and goals. Class offerings may vary by location and can include strength training, cardio, functional fitness, dance-based classes, combat training, flexibility training, and more.
Membership freezes are available for only $10 per month.
To cancel, simply come into the club and sign a cancellation form. Thanks to our bi-weekly billing structure, we’re able to offer significantly faster cancellation processing than most gyms. While many gyms can require up to 30–59 days for cancellation processing, our system allows cancellations to process in as little as two weeks.
We offer complimentary one-day passes for local first-time guests who have never used the facility before. Stop by the front desk during staffed hours to get started.
Our Fort Mohave location includes a childcare area for members to use; however, it is currently not supervised.
Our Bullhead City location (formerly Mad Dogs Fitness) does not currently have a childcare area, but we are actively working on adding one in the future.
Some classes may have limited space, so we recommend reserving your spot in advance when possible. Please check with the front desk or through the member app for class availability.
